Two crooked sticks..

 

·        Back in late 1973, God took all of my DNA and Larry's too!   He dumped in it a large receptacle.  Then he add a whirlwind.  That power swirled all of both our beings around and around! Our unsavory genes sank; good rose to the top. God took his own hand, reached in and skimmed our good while letting those bad seeds fall to the bottom.  What he saved he placed in a new being.  He did not include Larry's 'love of money' nor my 'unwillingness to listen'.  He kept Larry's high integrity.  He kept my love of family.  We called the new being Laura!  Laura is derived from the Latin word laurus and dates back to ancient Roman times. The word symbolized victory and honor. She came into the world with sunshine on her head and joy in her heart. Her DNA included bits that created a woman of character!  He gave her courage.  She is brave.  He made her trustworthy. She is honest, reliable, punctual, loyal!  He added integrity, respect, and courtesy. He made her responsible.  She is accountable, diligent, self-controlled, and can persevere. He made her fair! She believes in justice, freedom and is not prejudice. All things are possible with the Lord. He took two crooked sticks and made a straight limb! Laura is one of my greatest accomplishments!  Erin is my other!
